Mission Statement:
The Objective of this ministry is to exhort the
saints and meet their needs and to fulfill the Great Commission as given
in Matthew 28:19-20, by reaching, baptizing, and teaching.
1. REACH people for Christ
through:
a. Influence of Christian lifestyle
b. Discipleship ministries
c. Visitation outreach
d. Meeting physical needs of the needy
2. BAPTIZE people; help them
identify with Christ and the church.
a. Provide church events to attract people and help them "fit in"
(revival services, special musical presentations, sports activities,
etc.)
b. Follow up on newcomers and build good relationships to network then
into
the fellowship and life of the church and bond then to the church.
3. TEACH the word of God to ground
new Christians and strengthen all Christians in
the faith.
a. Sunday and Wednesday services
1. Worship and Bible Study
b. Prayer meetings and special topical studies
c. Various group meetings
4. MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SAINTS
through:
a. Emergency assistance
b. Counseling ministry
c. Fellowship of other Christians
d. Prayer chain
e. Biblical teaching (see 3 above)
Doctrinal Statement:
1. We believe in the verbal,
plenary inspiration and authority of the Scriptures.
We
believe that the Bible reveals God, the fall of man, the way of
salvation, and
God's plan and purpose in the ages.
2. We believe in God the
Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the deity,
Virgin Birth, and sinless perfection of Jesus Christ.
4. We believe that salvation
is "by grace" plus nothing and minus nothing.
The
conditions to salvation are repentance and faith.
5. We believe that men are
justified by faith alone and are accounted righteous
before God only through the merit of out Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
6. We believe in the visible
and personal return of Jesus Christ.
7. We believe in the
everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved and the
everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.
